Building on the tremendous success of the 100 Yacht, Sunseeker introduces a captivating concept, the 120 Yacht, poised to become a distinguished addition to its Superyacht lineup. This unveiling took center stage at the Monaco Yacht Show, marking a new chapter in Sunseeker’s legacy.
The Sunseeker 120 Yacht draws inspiration from the dynamic design and layout of the 100 Yacht while elevating the concept to new heights. The British shipbuilder, renowned for its portfolio of nearly 150 superyachts spanning over 100 feet, proudly displayed a 100-yard vessel at the illustrious four-day event hosted at Port Hercules. In addition to the 120 Yacht, Sunseeker showcased an 88 Yacht and a 95 Yacht.
The 120 Yacht boasts impressive specifications, including a remarkable overall length of 120 feet (36.6 meters), a beam measuring 24 feet 1 inch (7.3 meters), and a draft at full load of 8 feet 3 inches (2.5 meters). Propelled by twin MTU 12V 2,000 engines, this vessel is anticipated to reach a top speed of 20 knots and possess a cruising range of 1,730 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Andrea Frabetti, the CEO of Sunseeker International, expressed the brand’s enthusiasm for the 120 Yacht, describing it as a “new superyacht destined to join our dynamic product range.” The inspiration for this exceptional vessel harks back to Sunseeker’s heritage in superyacht craftsmanship, combining iconic design elements with forward-looking innovation.
Collaborating closely with Design Unlimited, Sunseeker has crafted an interior that promises to leave a lasting impression. The interior space is envisioned as a fusion of high-impact aesthetics and the comforts of home, ensuring that owners are met with a truly special environment.
The exterior design of the 120 Yacht is characterized by angular lines, expansive glazing, raised stainless-steel handrails, and a sleek hardtop and pilothouse. The aft flybridge features two spacious seating areas for formal dining and socializing. A starboard walk-through leads to the elevated foredeck, which hosts asymmetrical sofas, a four-person sun pad, and the option of a spa tub.
The main deck’s aft cockpit has been significantly expanded compared to the 100 Yacht, offering a curved seating group for up to 10 guests. This area is complemented by dual symmetrical tables surrounding a four-person wet bar. The beach club features a full-width, high-low swim platform and a gull-wing door, revealing a day head, shower, and storage space. The garage is designed to accommodate a 6-meter tender and two jet skis.
The interior of the 120 Yacht is a showcase of opulence, featuring luxurious stone finishes, statement lighting pieces, in-set marble flooring, and angular furniture selections. The saloon offers ample seating, including a spacious sofa to port and two chairs to starboard, while a round dining table can host up to 12 guests.
The starboard hallway leads to the expansive owner’s suite, while the lower deck houses four guest cabins and the crew quarters. Sean Robertson, Sales & Marketing Director at Sunseeker International, underscored the brand’s rich history in producing industry-defining superyachts and emphasized the 120 Yacht’s potential to fulfill the dreams of discerning yacht owners
