Bentley’s Mulliner division has continuously provided the utmost level of luxury and bespoke features for their exclusive automobile releases. In 2020, they’ve announced the new era of Mulliner defined by three portfolios of automobiles: Coachbuilt, Classic, and Collections.
The new Mulliner Bacalar ‘Barchetta’ edition, part of the Coachbuilt portfolio, is the most exclusive Bentley of the modern era. Created in the world’s first certified carbon neutral factory for luxury car production, the two seater features an enhanced 6.0-liter W12 TSI engine, which is capable of producing 650 bhp. The vehicle’s detailing is inspired by the concept car ‘EXP 100 GT,’ and is a dynamically sculpted open-air iteration of the world’s most sought after super car.
Ultra-enhanced fittings raise the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar to an exceptional level. A wraparound cockpit and advanced dashboard take the Bacalar’s interior to another dimension. Built with contemporary techniques and sustainable materials, this futuristic design is fitted for only the most discerning owner, with an advanced, fully digital, driver-focused instrument panel and the now famous Bentley Rotating display. A stand-out knurled pattern in the leather which is mirrored in the structural design of the interior, coupled with a custom manufactured bespoke natural wool textile and rare Copper-Infused Riverwood are just a few of the unique elements.
Much of the interior details can be fully customized by the owner, making the finished automobile truly exceptional and one-of-a-kind. Starting at 1.5 million pounds, or $1.9 million USD, excluding taxes and options, the cars are currently in pre-production and expected for delivery beginning next year.
