Heesen has unveiled a set of preliminary images for its largest steel superyacht to date, named Sparta. With a length of 220 feet, this colossal vessel is currently undergoing final commissioning phases before embarking on rigorous trials in the North Sea.
Adorned with a striking “Snow-White” exterior, complemented by accents of metallic red and gray, the splendid new ship is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots.
The design of Sparta may seem familiar, as it draws inspiration from Project Avanti, a concept that Heesen and Winch Design introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2018. Collaborating once again, Heesen and Winch Design have crafted Sparta to feature the same sleek lines and sporty profile as the Avanti concept. Other notable similarities include the reverse bow, raised pilot house, and a series of thermobonded windows stretching from bow to stern.
Designed for a private client and their family, this enormous yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests, along with a crew of 14 and two additional staff members. Accessible through an elegant oak staircase or a glass elevator, each of the three decks follows a specific theme: earth, water, or air.
The lower deck of Sparta showcases an expansive wellness area, featuring an elliptical whirlpool, steam room, sauna, gym, and even a dedicated “beauty area.” Guests have the delightful opportunity to indulge in the expansive full-beam main saloon and relish the open-air beach terrace on the main aft deck. This area provides easy access to the water through the transformer passerelle platform or the option to take a refreshing dip in the 21-foot infinity pool.
The main deck of the yacht houses four guest suites, with a movable partition that allows for the creation of a full-beam VIP suite or a spacious playroom for children, depending on the need. The private upper deck offers two owner’s suites, beautifully decorated in shades of pale blue and adorned with mother-of-pearl inlays, soft fabrics, and patterned rugs, embodying the “air” theme.
One of the most exciting features of Sparta is its custom limo tender, a miniaturized version of the mothership stored behind the gullwing doors of the forward garage, alongside various water toys.
