Imagine this: Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake collaborating not at a bar, but in a bar! That’s precisely what happened as the famous golfer and musician teamed up to launch T-Squared Social (short for Tiger and Timberlake) in Midtown Manhattan, as reported by the New York Post. Spanning an impressive 22,000 square feet, this sports bar offers an array of craft cocktails, high-end pub cuisine, indoor sports entertainment, and more.
This exciting venture emerged during a friendly golf outing at a private course in the Bahamas, where the two celebrities decided to create a unique establishment. While T-Squared Social is open to the general public, it also offers an exclusive membership option for $250 per quarter. Members gain access to a range of benefits, including priority reservations for various activities, waived fees for private events, and other exclusive privileges.
T-Squared Social boasts an impressive lineup of amenities, including four golf simulators, four duckpin bowling lanes, and three dart bays. For those who prefer watching sports, the bar features over 30 TVs, including an enormous 200-inch screen—the largest in New York City. Enthusiastic sports fans can even reserve one of 11 “box seats” right in front of this massive display, creating a premium viewing experience.
The drink menu at T-Squared Social is extensive, with over a dozen craft cocktails, including the Smoked Old Fashioned, Grand Central Negroni, and Back 9 Hot Toddy. Additionally, the bar offers an extensive selection of beers. While wine and Champagne might not be the first choices at a sports bar, the option is available, with choices like a $700 bottle of Dom Pérignon or a $450 bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon for those who desire a more elevated experience.
As for the food, T-Squared Social offers a blend of classic bar fare with gourmet twists. The menu features three styles of pork belly (candied, braised, and hoisin-glazed) served with popcorn, as well as a Montauk Board brimming with seafood delights, including grilled half lobster, charred octopus, shrimp skewers, and grilled snow crab clusters. Traditional sports bar favorites like wings, burgers, and fries are also on the menu, with the option to elevate your fries with truffle and Parmesan.
While New York City already boasts numerous mega-sports bars, the star power of Woods and Timberlake could make T-Squared Social stand out in this competitive landscape.
