Apple has just introduced its second generation iPhone SE, starting at $399 USD. The rebooted model comes equipped with a refurbished iPhone 8-like style design. Featuring a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, somewhat thick bezels, and a classic home button with Finger Touch ID. The new phone utilizes Apple’s new A13 Bionic processor, the same within the company’s latest iPhone 11 and 11 Pro.
The features of the camera have been enhanced tremendously. Like the original first generation iPhone SE, the phone features a single camera lens on the front and fit with a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens on the backside. The power and capabilities of an A13 Bionic processor gives the rear camera Smart HDR for detailed shots, while the front camera is able to utilize Portrait Mode and Portrait Lighting effects. The second-generation titled “Special Edition” iPhone can also shoot 4K video at 60fps, with slo-mo, time-lapse, and cinematic video stabilization in both front and rear lenses. Yes, all of this packed into this new phone – truly a game changer for the SE.
The new SE is completely made of glass and aluminum. Also able to utilize Qi wireless charge, unlike its original counterpart which became quite popular after being initially introduced.
For those that are ready right now to get your new SE, heres the insight on release – the new Apple iPhone SE is available to preorder Friday April 17 in black, white, and Product(RED) for $399 USD, with deliveries expected to begin April 24.
