Italian boat building company Benetti Yachts has long been known for their outstanding ultra luxury ships. Pioneering technology with the highest quality standards and in collaboration with iconic designers, Benetti continues to push boundaries creating the future of yachts, merging iconic elegance with forward thinking design. Benetti’s two new yacht projects – the Motopanfilo and FB284 are no exception.
Motopanfilo
The new 37-metre Motopanfilo yacht by Benetti is inspired by the carefree spirit of the sixties, built for today’s modern boat owner. Taking elements from previous Benetti models, Francesco Struglia reimagines the yacht’s exterior lines with Lazzarini Pickering Architetti designing the interiors. A highlight of the boat’s exterior can be seen in the combining of elements that link the hull and the superstructure to create a single visually harmonious feature. Generous spaces and an abundance of windows create a light-filled interior that seamlessly blends into the outdoor decks and beyond. One of my personal favorite features can be seen in the Observation Deck, now positioned above the hard top on the new Motopanfilo, for an ultimately private place atop to soak up the sun or relax under the stars.
FB284
At an impressive 67 metres (219 feet), FB284 boasts a total of six decks, designed by the talented Giorgio M. Cassetta. “Excellent liveability and highly rationalised spaces are the main features of the design” maximizing use of all areas inside and out to improve the quality of life onboard. With accommodations for up to 14 guests and 19 crew, the ship is an ultimate example of functional spaces with just the right balance of comfort and pleasure. The Upper Deck, dedicated as the owner’s quarters, has the master stateroom, a private study, and two bathrooms. With this layout, a glass-paneled panoramic ocean view is possible from the comfort of the master bed.
