This new iteration of the SR Series will boast state-of-the-art touchscreen displays, advanced safety features, improved visibility, and upgraded interiors, all seamlessly integrated with the Cirrus IQ mobile app.
The SR Series G7’s redesigned flight deck aims to reduce pilot workload while enhancing situational awareness, without compromising on luxurious comfort for both pilot and passengers alike.
Powered by the Cirrus Perspective Touch+ system developed by Garmin, hailed as the most advanced flight deck in the industry, the SR Series G7 offers deeper integration of aircraft systems and heightened awareness of aircraft health. Available in 12” or 14” widescreen options, the Perspective Touch+ display introduces dual Garmin Touchscreen Controllers, a groundbreaking feature for piston aircraft. Furthermore, features such as CAS-linked checklist and checklist scroll wheel streamline pre-flight procedures, while taxiway routing and 3D SafeTaxi simplify ground operations.
Moreover, the Perspective Touch+ display facilitates connectivity with the Cirrus IQ mobile app, enabling swift checks for essential aircraft readiness elements, including maintenance updates, real-time fuel and oxygen levels, and aircraft location.
The interior of the cabin maintains its hallmark first-class comfort, now enhanced with redesigned interiors inspired by automotive design, featuring a new push/start button. The 2024 edition also offers five fresh exterior and premium interior aesthetic options for early-order enthusiasts.
While emphasizing style, Cirrus remains steadfast in its commitment to safety, integrating innovative features such as the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System, which has redefined industry standards. The SR Series G7 introduces additional safety measures, including a stick shaker function to warn pilots of impending stalls and flap airspeed protection to prevent inadvertent flap deployment or retraction.
