Introducing the Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition, Limited to 250 Units
Swiss horologist Girard-Perregaux and distinguished British luxury sports car manufacturer Aston Martin have once again joined creative forces, unveiling the “Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition,” a new timepiece that boasts exclusivity with only 250 units available.
The inspiration for this distinctive timepiece was drawn from Aston Martin’s groundbreaking DB12, recognized as the world’s inaugural “Super Tourer” car. The watch’s design highlights include a meticulously skeletonized dial, offering a captivating view of all the functional components, with subtle co-branding elements tastefully integrated. A subtle yet sophisticated tribute to Aston Martin is found in the accents of emerald green and the luminescent-treated hands, paying homage to the automaker’s signature green hue.
This watch represents a contemporary addition to Girard-Perregaux’s esteemed Bridges collection, a lineage dating back to 1867 when Constant Girard introduced a pocket watch featuring three parallel bridges. The Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition upholds this tradition but with a modern twist, presenting the movement’s components in an inverted configuration.
Patrick Pruniaux, the CEO of Girard-Perregaux, emphasized, “This was not merely a case of putting Aston Martin’s name on one of our watches. They played an active role in the conception of this watch, looking at the materials employed and, interestingly, the design of the movement. The Neo Bridges Aston Martin Edition is the impressive outcome of two companies synergistically working together.”
Encased in a 45mm diameter titanium case with a sleek black DLC coating, the limited edition of 250 pieces is set to hit authorized Girard-Perregaux dealers in December, retailing at $37,700 USD.
