In a landmark collaboration, the esteemed German car manufacturer has partnered with JDS Development Groups to introduce Mercedes-Benz Places, an ambitious 67-story mixed-use edifice located at 1 Southside Park in the heart of Miami’s vibrant Brickell neighborhood. This sprawling complex, covering over 2.5 million square feet, is set to feature an impressive array of 791 luxury residences. Studio units will open at a price point of $550,000, with three-bedroom homes reaching up to $4 million. Information regarding the tower’s exclusive penthouses will be unveiled in the future.
Beyond residential spaces, this striking construction is poised to offer 200,000 square feet of commercial office space, premier health and wellness centers, a 174-room hotel, various retail outlets, and dedicated parking facilities. Crafted by the acclaimed urban design firm Field Operations, known for their transformative projects like New York’s Highline and Miami’s Underline, Mercedes-Benz Places is destined to host Brickell’s most extensive green space.

He emphasized the project’s commitment to sustainable construction and design, aiming to establish a benchmark for Brickell and the broader Florida region.
The architectural essence of the tower will seamlessly incorporate Mercedes-Benz’s iconic design ethos. The brand’s hallmark “sensual purity” philosophy will manifest in the building’s cube-shaped architecture, characterized by smooth lines and an abundance of sleek, silver finishes.
Eva Wiese, head of Mercedes-Benz customer solutions GmbH, highlighted the vision behind the project, stating, “Our venture into branded real estate in Miami reflects the core of Mercedes-Benz Places. Together with our partners, we aim to craft unparalleled living spaces that unmistakably bear the Mercedes-Benz signature, fostering a novel urban lifestyle within thriving communities. Our goal is to establish welcoming spaces in desirable locales.”
With construction already underway, the tower is on track for occupancy by 2027. The sales effort will be spearheaded by renowned real estate agent and TV personality from Million Dollar Listing New York, Ryan Serhant.
