As Porsche prepares for the seventh iteration of the Rennsport Reunion and commemorates the 60th anniversary of the iconic 911 sports car, Porsche Design, in collaboration with PUMA, introduces two exclusive sneaker collections. These limited-edition sneakers pay homage to Porsche’s rich heritage and the vibrant Porsche community.
Just in time for Rennsport Reunion 7, Porsche unveils the Rennsport Reunion 7 — Mirage Sport Tech athletic trainers. These sneakers embody the exhilaration of the race track while seamlessly blending with street fashion. Adorned with exclusive Porsche Rennsport Reunion branding on the tongue, insole, and shoe box, these sneakers proudly represent their association with the prestigious gathering of Porsche
enthusiasts.
The checkered flag design towards the heel pays tribute to Porsche’s racing legacy, while the finish line symbol from the Rennsport Reunion logo adds a vibrant touch of red and blue accent colors. These trainers are available in classic black and pristine white color options. From the racetrack to the streets, the Rennsport Reunion 7 – Mirage Sport Tech trainers not only celebrate one of the largest Porsche events but also embody the spirit of racing culture in every step.
Porsche is commemorating the 60th anniversary of the legendary 911 sports car with two limited-edition sneaker models designed to reflect the remarkable history of this iconic vehicle.
Retro Sneaker
The Retro Sneaker pays homage to the Porsche 911’s past with a classic narrow suede leather silhouette inspired by the 1972 Porsche 911 S 2.5. It features a light blue color scheme reminiscent of the historic vehicle’s exterior, red contrast stitching, and the starting number 56 on the heel.
Limited to 1,972 pairs to honor the birth year of the Porsche 911 S 2.5, each sneaker is individually numbered on a leather flap attached to the side. The grill badge from the recently released Porsche 911 S/T’s radiator grill adorns the front of the tongue, and a brown leather tag completes the design.
Heritage Sneaker
The Heritage Sneaker takes ideas and inspiration from the current Porsche 911 S/T. With a sporty leather silhouette, these sneakers feature a gray hue reflecting the anniversary car’s exterior color and a cognac-brown tone on the lining, reminiscent of the interior.
The starting number 63 on the heel pays homage to the Porsche 911’s birth year. Limited to 1,963 pairs, each sneaker bears an individual numbering (no. XXXX of 1963) on the underside of the tongue, matching the pattern of the vehicle seats.
These limited-edition sneaker collections offer a unique opportunity to celebrate Porsche’s 75-year legacy of sports car excellence and 60 years of the iconic 911. The Rennsport Reunion 7 – Mirage Sport Tech trainers are available for order starting August 24 at the official Porsche Design Online Store and Porsche Design stores, with a retail price of $150.
