Kim Kardashian is an American socialite, businesswoman, and media personality who arrived at the 2022 Baby2Baby Gala event which was presented by Paul Mitchell in West Hollywood.
42 years old, Kim wore a pink cutout dress designed by Balenciaga while telling to ET she said “I am excited to be a part of the ceremony”.
Kris Jenner, Kim’s mother, and her sister, Kylie Jenner were also present at the event to support her and after the event, they shared Kim’s speech on Instagram.
At the event, Kim Kardashian was awarded the Tree Award by the filmmaker and philanthropist Tyler Perry. This annual award is usually given to females, who have shown a commitment towards the children’s wellbeing. Kim has been an active supporter of the Baby2Baby organization for decades.
Her speech at the event started by thanking Tyler for his support and inspiration, before the beginning of how justice for everyone, including kids, is an important part of the work of her life.
“Neither you have to break the internet nor have millions of followers to make a difference. Everyone in this room has the power, even the smallest of efforts help, and our support is needed more now than ever, in order to close the necessary gap and join for the change.”
Baby2Baby is a non-profit organization in America that provides clothes, diapers, and other necessities for children who are in the poverty in the Los Angeles area and in disaster areas across the country.
It leads the Baby2Baby National Network, which works with local organizations to distribute basic essentials to those children living the poverty in over 40 cities across the United States. In the 2018 Gala dinner, it raised $4 million.
Baba2Baby has support from personalities whose professions generally belong to show and business and in the last 10 years, this NGO has donated over 200 million items to children who were in poor conditions.
