The new version of the Porsche Cayenne SUV has been unveiled; it has a modern screen and controls, cool lights, and a mix of engine choices amongst other options. This update is one of the biggest changes Porsche has ever made to the car, says Michael Schätzle, Vice President Product Line Cayenne.
The 2023 Cayenne is a big makeover for the older Cayenne. The maker changed a lot of things like how it drives, what’s under the hood, how it looks, and how it performs – all to make it more comfortable for everyday use while maintaining its classy nature.
The updated version of the Porsche Cayenne comes with a new way of driving called the Porsche Driver Experience, which they first used in the Porsche Taycan. They also changed the front and back of the Cayenne to look cooler with new high-resolution HD matrix technology for its headlights. A special package has been utilize to make the car lighter, with added exterior colors to choose from and a new range of rims to accent this modern SUV.
Inside the car, old dials have been replaced by a big digital screen as the dashboard. There is an optional screen for the front passenger, taking ease off the driver and allowing the passenger to control things like navigation and media. This screen also has a special foil in place, similar to a privacy screen, that blocks visibility of it for the driver so as to not distract them.
Under the hood, the Cayenne comes with three engine options. The standard engine has a 3-liter engine with 343 horsepower (which is more power than before). There’s also a stronger version with a bigger 4-liter engine and 650 horsepower. This one can go really fast, up to 273 kilometers per hour. The alternative version is a hybrid, merging both a regular engine and an electric one. This makes it more powerful, with a total of 463 horsepower.
This Porsche Cayenne has lots of rivals like the Range Rover Sport, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Jaguar F-Pace, and Audi Q8. But Porsche says their Cayenne is the sportiest and coolest one in its group.
