Delta has teamed up with the iconic German automaker to surprise select passengers with tight connections at LAX by offering them a speedy shuttle service in a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. While you won’t be tearing through the airport at full throttle (safety first, after all), the opportunity to ride in one of Porsche’s most exhilarating road-legal track cars is an experience to remember.
This isn’t the first time Delta and Porsche have joined forces to enhance the passenger journey. For over a decade, Delta has maintained an exclusive partnership with Porsche, utilizing a fleet of Cayennes and Panameras to cater to its elite clientele. Last summer, the two companies delighted VIP customers at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport with rides in a Porsche 918 hybrid supercar.
But this time around, the excitement extends beyond the VIP lounge. From now until February 26, travelers arriving at LAX with tight connections may find themselves being chauffeured in the coveted 911 GT3 RS, regardless of their status.
