Made using recycled resin.
G-SHOCK has released the G5600BG-1, a limited-edition watch that honors the yearly occasion that promotes environmental conservation. Giving in to a worthy cause does not require sacrificing individuality and design. This new watch supports the brand’s continued attempts to innovate new materials, finishes, and hues while also supporting its efforts to promote sustainability.
The G5600BG-1’s band and bezel are made of recycled resin that was obtained from leftover pieces from the manufacturing of CASIO watches. To create a distinctive pattern and colorful appearance, the reused pieces are finely shredded and thoroughly combined in a variety of hues, including red, matte black, and yellow.
This special edition reference also features G-SHOCK’s Tough Solar technology, which enables it to be charged by artificial and solar light sources. The watch comes in eco-friendly packaging and has all the standard features one would expect from a G5600 model.
At $150, the limited-edition G5600BG-1 is already retailing at G-SHOCK and a few other online and in-store locations.
