The superstar rapper Kanye West no longer has a place on Forbes billionaires list now that his lucrative deal with Adidas is over.
Forbes Billionaires List Kanye West has made multiple anti-Semitic remarks on social media and in national media appearances. On Tuesday Adidas finally broke its silence saying that it ended its relationship with Kanye West. the company said :
‘’Adidas does not tolerate anti-Semitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable hateful and dangerous and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion mutual respect and fairness’’
It has been said that the deal with Adidas has been valued at $1.5 billion. Adidas will lose $246 million this year alone from the termination of their partnership with Ye. Based on interviews with industry experts forms his view the royalties yay received from Adidas to be like royalties from using catalogues or film residuals. Nevertheless, without Adidas Ye is worth 400 million dollars. This pattern continued every year with Ye continuing to complain about Forbes low numbers of his network valuation. For this 2022’s valuation Ye sent documents claiming his Adidas partnership was worth $4.3 billion. When Ye learned he would clock in at $2 billion overall his unhappiness with Forbes was leaked to the tabloids.
