The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany unveiled a new installation, a full-size 911 Turbo in lime green LEGO bricks. Rather than using actual LEGO bricks, Porsche automakers constructed custom large size LEGO bricks specially for this project. You won’t be able to find this LEGO Set just anywhere!
Although we don’t not have exact information on how this full size life LEGO model was built we believe the automakers molded pieces out of fiberglass and then bolted them together. The overall finished model is quite impressive. The lime green 911 Turbo model Porsche takes its shape from the Lego Speed Champions kit that includes a modern Porsche 911 RSR racecar and late-1970s 911 Turbo 3.0 and retails for $29.99 in the United States.
The original Porsche 911 Turbo was the fastest production car in Germany when it was released. Featuring a 256-horsepower turbo flat-six which is not too high by today’s standards, considering it’s less powerful than today’s base stock 911, but was very demanding by the 1970s standards.
