Porsche showcases the 2024 All-Electric Macan

Undoubtedly, Porsche is a well-known brand in the automotive industry, offering both sports cars and small SUVs in its lineup. The brand is expanding the range of electric vehicles it offers as it goes forward. To continue expanding its lineup, the carmaker showcased the 2024 Macan, which is entirely electric.

The Macan 4 and Macan Turbo models are available for the new Macan, Porsche’s second all-electric vehicle. The maximum power output of the Macan 4 model is 300 kW (402 hp), and the maximum power output of the Macan Turbo is 470 kW (630 hp). With peak speeds of 136 and 161 mph, the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo have 0-60 mph times of 4.9 and 3.1 seconds, respectively. The models also have maximum torques of 479 and 833 lb-ft.

Vice President of the Macan product line Jörg Kerner stated, “With the all-electric Macan, we aim to offer the sportiest model in its segment.” “We are raising the bar for a trendy SUV in a lot of ways.”

A lithium-ion (HV) battery, which also houses the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) and its 800-volt architecture, powers the all-wheel drive vehicle. The vehicle has a 270kW charging capacity with it. One important feature is that, with a fast-charging device, its charge can go from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.
