The new Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition was introduced by Rimac Automobili to commemorate the Croatian company’s 15 years of excellence. Rimac’s tale is one of a quick rise from poverty to wealth. In the blink of an eye compared to other automakers, Mate Rimac founded Rimac Automobili just 15 years ago, and today it dominates the hypercar market.
Mate Rimac, the CEO of the Rimac Group, stated, “To be honest, I never would have imagined being where we are now 15 years later when I started to tinker with my first car in a garage.” “We truly believed the company wouldn’t survive a lot of the early years, so we felt that celebrating our 15th anniversary was appropriate.”
Only nine custom versions of this unique Nevera edition will be produced, making it a very rare release. The Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition is priced like a hypercar, coming in at €2.35 million ($2.54 million). It’s not the appearances that do the talking, since the engine, which produces an astounding 1,914 horsepower and breaks the world record by speeding from 0 to 60 mph in 1.74 seconds, is the same as the original.
On the other hand, the 15th Anniversary Edition is different from earlier versions in terms of appearance. The unveiling of the Nevera decked out in a brand-new copper hue, signifies the debut of matte paints on the model. Copper was chosen for several reasons: Copper has associations with energy and electricity in addition to festivity. Mate Rimac was first motivated to investigate electrical energy as a power source by the renowned scientist Nikola Tesla, who was born in what is now Croatia and made significant advancements in the realm of electricity.
This new Rimac has a particular visual vitality thanks to a new glossy carbon fiber split that starkly contrasts with the matte paintwork.
Although the owners of the nine Nevera 15th Anniversary Editions can customize their items to a certain extent, many elements are still the same. Every model will have the unique 15th Anniversary badging, dual-color alloy wheels, and a circuit board pattern that stretches the whole length of the vehicle.
The Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition’s inside is just as lavish. The vehicle’s external concept is furthered by copper highlights like the anodized switchgear and copper-plated surfaces. Owners have a choice of two upholstery colors: striking black or pure white. Both options come with contrasting copper leather upholstery, and the number 15 is engraved into the headrest of each of the two seats.
