Ferrari launches a new car titled the Portofino M, and it’s beautiful. Releasing a new car during the pandemic even after taking a 60% hit to its quarter two earnings was quite a move by Ferrari. The all new model takes from the Portofino released in 2017, now becoming the new convertible flagship its line up.
On the inside, this car is packed with a 3.9-liter V8 engine which has been boosted from its previous 592 BHP to 612 BHP, and there is also a new eight-speed paddle-shift gearbox in place of the original car’s seven-speed set-up. Also bringing in a lot of life to this series, the model added a “Race Mode” switch, which is a surprise as the Portofino is a far cry from the power-focused models in Ferrari’s line-up, such as the 812 GTS or the SF90 Stradale however something Ferrari lovers do love.
On the outside, the differences between a Portofino and a Portofino M, is at immediate first glance the front bumper more sculpted and muscular, and the backside has added a new exhaust system that has subsequently changed the rear diffuser’s styling. Ferrari, has also announced during the unveiling of its new Portonimo M moel m that the previous Porrotfino will now be discontinued, meaning this is now the entry-level Ferrari on offer.
