ACED GALLERY has a long history of beautiful award-winning shows at Art Basel and this year is no different. Setting off the exhibition is a massive mural spanning 75 ft by the pool area completed by artist Flore. The eye-catching mural in Flore’s signature contemporary style of overlayed square graphic doodles features a mix of bright colors, funky chomper faces, florals and abstract scribbles. This particular piece of art seems a perfect fit for the Miami Art Basel week, especially in collaboration with The Sagamore Hotel which is a cultural centerpiece in the heart of South Beach, and in collaboration with Aced Gallery, a leader in contemporary eye-catching artworks.
Since his artistic debut, Flore’s work has been admired for it’s playful yet meaningful juxtaposition – often including thought-provoking words and phrases with bold colors that draw focus throughout the artwork. His work is closely influenced by iconic artists such as Kieth Haring, Jean Michel Basquiat, and George Condo.
