Dioriviera Makes A Delightful Stop At Tanjong Beach Club in Singapore

It is impossible to discuss Dior without acknowledging the deep connection between Christian Dior and the French Riviera. This timeless romance is intricately woven into the Maison’s design DNA, influencing all their past and present endeavors. Known as the Côte d’Azur or the “Coast of Azure” in French, this picturesque corner of the Mediterranean coast boasts azure blue seas that match the summer skies. Against this breathtaking backdrop of pristine white beaches and crystal-clear waters, Dior unveils its summer campaign for 2023, known as Dioriviera.

The Maison describes this year’s capsule collection as an “invitation to embark on a journey of enchantment,” a nostalgic nod to the wanderlust felt by global citizens in a post-pandemic world. Embracing the spirit of summer with a touch of French flair, Dior has handpicked iconic destinations worldwide to transform into mini-Diorivieras. From Ibiza to Mykonos, this June it’s Singapore’s turn to bask in the radiant Dioriviera summer. The Dior X Tanjong Beach Club pop-up was inaugurated earlier this month, with Cha Eun-Woo, the global brand ambassador for Parfums Christian Dior, gracing the event alongside other esteemed guests from across the region.

A drone captures a mesmerizing shot of the pool area featuring the iconic “Christian Dior” logo, reminiscent of the beloved Dior Book Tote. It’s a sight where maximalism truly shines, and everything is enveloped in the allure of Dior.

As visitors enter the club, they are greeted by a prominent golden “Dior” sign flanked by life-sized animal sculptures covered in toile de Jouy fabric. Just beside it, a charming cream-colored auto-rickshaw carries a selection of the Maison’s best-selling fragrances. At the heart of these scents lies the latest addition to the La Collection Privée line: the new Dioriviera eau de parfum. This fragrance, created by Francis Kurkdjian, Dior’s creative director of perfume since 2021, captures the essence of celebration, hedonism, and epicurean delights.

The Dioriviera eau de parfum serves as a tantalizing introduction to the rest of the capsule collection, which includes playful summer essentials like sarongs, silk wrap tops, and the quintessential one-piece swimsuit, all adorned with wild toile de Jouy patterns. This collection perfectly complements lazy afternoons spent by the beach or leisurely moments at a local café, capturing the essence of staying chic while embracing the perpetual summer heat of tropical Singapore.

Dedicated Dior enthusiasts can also expect the return of beloved items like the Dior Book Tote and Dway slides, now available in softer seasonal hues of pink, grey, and denim blue. For those with an active lifestyle who enjoy beachside workouts, the capsule offers lifestyle products such as yoga mats and table tennis paddles, bringing a touch of wild toile de Jouy to every corner of this Dioriviera summer.

The Dioriviera pop-up at Tanjong Beach Club will remain open to the public until June 30, 2023.
