Unveiled during Miami’s renowned Art and Design Week, the Big Bang Unico Magic City draws inspiration from the lively and diverse hues that characterize this Floridian metropolis. Every vibrant element, from beach sunsets to street graffiti, is reflected in this captivating timepiece through bold bursts of color.
At the core of this new creation beats Hublot’s in-house Unico HUB128, described as an “open heart” movement. With a striking skeletonized design and a power reserve of 72 hours, this automatic chronograph boasts a double coupling system and a dial-side column wheel. Hublot emphasizes the simplicity in the construction of the 354 components, aiming to enhance reliability and robustness.
The open-worked matte-black dial takes center stage, featuring a captivating ombre sunset motif that gracefully transitions between shades, reminiscent of the transformation from day to night on South Beach. Safeguarded by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, the dial encapsulates the vibrant spirit of Miami.
