Rolls-Royce has unveiled its latest unique creation, a custom-made Phantom that pays homage to the exquisite beauty of the Italian Riviera and its rich winemaking heritage. This one-of-a-kind Bespoke Phantom, titled “Inspired by Cinque Terre,” distinguishes itself from the standard models in Rolls-Royce’s luxurious lineup through a multitude of special design elements and an unwavering commitment to precision.
Cinque Terre, which translates to ‘Five Lands’ in Italian, is a coastal region nestled in the Liguria region of northern Italy, bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Comprising the five picturesque cliffside villages of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore, this area is renowned for its fishing communities and terraced vineyards that grace the hillsides. The bespoke Phantom pays a heartfelt tribute to the enchanting Cinque Terre with a host of design elements and motifs.
Beginning with its exterior, this one-of-a-kind masterpiece is adorned in a distinctive Ligurian blue hue. The bodywork is embellished with meticulously hand-applied Navy Blue and Jasmine double coach lines, along with a delicate grape motif. However, it is within the unique Phantom’s interior that the most captivating bespoke artistry unfolds. Adorned in Grace White and Navy Blue leather, accented with jasmine details, the cabin features an exquisite grape-branch embroidery on the rear doors. Rolls-Royce proudly states that each embroidery piece comprises an astonishing 9215 stitches, crafted using two distinct techniques.
The grape motif also graces both picnic tables in the form of intricate inlays, skillfully combining stainless steel and gold plating. A standout feature of this one-of-a-kind Phantom is its bespoke Starlight Headliner, showcasing an embroidered map of Italy meticulously crafted with 14,338 individual stitches. The five softly glowing stars positioned along the coastline are meticulously placed by hand to represent the Cinque Terre villages. Moreover, the cabin is adorned with bespoke artworks inspired by these charming villages, including a Gallery housing specially commissioned artwork that captures the essence of Cinque Terre through its colors, architecture, and vibrant character. To complete the immersive experience, the glovebox is adorned with a silver-debossed image of these picturesque towns.
Unsurprisingly, Rolls-Royce has chosen to keep both the pricing and the identity of the owner a well-guarded secret, allowing the sheer elegance and exclusivity of this “Inspired by Cinque Terre” Phantom to speak for itself.
