The announcement of the Four Seasons Yacht in the previous year sparked a wave of anticipation among both avid cruisers and loyal patrons of the esteemed hotel brand. Despite the initial buzz, scant details regarding the opulent 14-deck vessel have been unveiled—until now.
This week, Four Seasons revealed the inaugural renderings of the yacht’s decks and interiors, igniting further excitement among enthusiasts.
Described as a vessel designed for “immersive luxury experiences,” Four Seasons’ President and CEO, Alejandro Reynal, emphasized the yacht’s commitment to offering a world-class Four Seasons experience both at sea and on land, characterized by the brand’s hallmark personalized service.
At the heart of the yacht lies a collection of 95 suites, among which The Funnel Suite stands as the pinnacle of luxury. Spanning four stories and boasting an expansive outdoor terrace, this suite offers over 9,500 square feet of private space for up to six guests. Positioned atop the highest decks of the ship, reminiscent of a traditional “funnel” on a steamship, The Funnel Suite ensures unparalleled privacy and tranquility.
Its defining feature? A curved, wraparound glass facade offering sweeping 280-degree views of the sea an engineering marvel costing $4.5 million to construct and install, making it the largest piece of contiguous glass at sea.
The opulence doesn’t end there. Each suite, though not as expansive as The Funnel Suite, exudes luxury, with an average of 580 square feet of space and a private veranda of at least 100 square feet. With a crew-to-passenger ratio ensuring ample pampering, guests are assured of a lavish experience throughout their voyage.
Public spaces onboard are equally breathtaking. The aft deck features a pool area with lounge chairs and a 66-foot pool modeled after Aristotle Onassis’ iconic yacht Christina O. An innovative marina, designed for swimming and water sports, spans the width of the ship, offering activities such as snorkeling and private sailing, alongside custom sea limousines for coastal touring.
For those seeking relaxation, tiered lounging decks overlooking the marina provide the perfect spot to bask in the sun. Additionally, a sophisticated lounge with al fresco seating offers panoramic views, ideal for savoring a glass of Champagne at sunset.
In terms of itineraries, the yacht will prioritize exploring destinations synonymous with private yachting, including the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.
Reservations for the inaugural voyages, commencing in January 2024, will initially be available by invitation only to loyal Four Seasons guests and select travel partners, reflecting the exclusivity and high demand for this unique experience. However, a waitlist will also be available online for eager cruisers hoping to secure a coveted spot onboard.
