PlaneSense will install Gogo Galileo satellite Wi-Fi across its full lineup of Pilatus PC-12 turboprops and PC-24 jets. That will bring high-speed internet connectivity to 71 aircraft by the end of 2027. The New Hampshire-based fractional operator announced that the first PC-24 with Galileo on board is scheduled for delivery in late October 2026, with upgrades to the existing fleet and factory installations on new jets to follow.
The company, which operates the largest U.S. fleet of Pilatus aircraft, selected Gogo’s low Earth orbit (LEO) technology after what it describes as extensive research and evaluation. The decision covers all current aircraft as well as future deliveries, ensuring that every PlaneSense client will have access to consistent, high-performance broadband throughout their travels.
George Antoniadis, President and CEO of PlaneSense, said, “For more than 30 years, we have built the PlaneSense program around our clients’ needs, pairing a modern fleet with a thoughtful approach to technology and service.” He added, “With Gogo Galileo, we are bringing reliable, high-performance bandwidth to our entire fleet. Our clients will be able to stay connected consistently from takeoff to landing, making their time onboard more productive and enjoyable.”
Gogo Galileo’s system uses the Eutelsat OneWeb LEO satellite network and relies on the compact HDX electronically steered antenna, which is designed to be lightweight, aerodynamic, and low-power. The company says the system is “future-proof” thanks to the ability to deploy software updates remotely. Rigorous testing by PlaneSense indicated the system can support multiple passengers streaming video, joining video meetings, and using other connected services at the same time.

Pro Star Aviation will handle the installations on the PC-12 fleet. Its supplemental type certificate allows for the Galileo system to be fitted to PC-12s either with or without existing connectivity, and aircraft already equipped with L3 air-to-ground systems can retain that equipment when adding Galileo. Installation on the PC-12s will begin in November 2026, following the rollout to the PC-24s.
Chris Moore, CEO of Gogo, said, “Like all Gogo customers, PlaneSense fractional owners will also have access to our comprehensive suite of value-added services including advanced cybersecurity protections and training and industry-leading 24/7/365 global customer support. PlaneSense customers can rest easy knowing that Gogo minimizes data retention and protects customers’ sensitive information as we are committed to customer privacy.”
PlaneSense’s agreement with Gogo covers both its current fleet and all future Pilatus aircraft deliveries. According to company figures, PlaneSense operates 51 PC-12 turboprops and 20 PC-24 jets. That makes it the largest commercial operator of Pilatus aircraft in the United States. The company also holds the ARGUS Platinum Elite safety rating and serves a broad region including the continental U.S., Canada, Bermuda, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico, with options for global travel.
The HDX antenna, which will be installed on all aircraft, is described by Gogo as compact and lightweight, with an aerodynamic profile and low power requirements. The system is designed to allow software updates to be pushed remotely, which Gogo says will help keep the technology current as network capabilities evolve. The Galileo system is intended to support several passengers using high-bandwidth applications at the same time, such as streaming video or participating in video meetings, based on PlaneSense’s own testing.
PlaneSense’s installation schedule calls for the first PC-24 with Galileo to be delivered in late October 2026, with retrofits of the existing jet fleet beginning at the same time. All new PC-24s delivered after that point will have the system installed at the factory. Work on the PC-12 fleet will begin in November 2026, with Pro Star Aviation handling the process. The company expects to complete the rollout across all 71 aircraft by the end of 2027.
