Sunseeker made a grand entrance at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show with the unveiling of their latest creation, the Sunseeker 120 Yacht concept. This new yacht builds upon the bold and athletic design of the 100 Yacht, showcasing the British builder’s prowess in crafting superyachts. At the prestigious four-day event in Port Hercules, Sunseeker is not only showcasing the 120 Yacht but also displaying an 88 Yacht and a 95 Yacht.
The Sunseeker 120 Yacht boasts an impressive overall length of 120 feet (36.6 meters), a beam of 24 feet 1 inch (7.3 meters), and a draft at full load of 8 feet 3 inches (2.5 meters). Equipped with twin MTU 12V 2,000 engines, it is anticipated to achieve a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising range of 1,730 nautical miles at a comfortable 10 knots.
Andrea Frabetti, CEO of Sunseeker International, expressed his excitement about the 120 Yacht, stating, “We’re thrilled to introduce the stunning 120 Yacht, a new superyacht set to enrich our dynamic product lineup. Drawing inspiration from our heritage superyachts, the 120 Yacht preserves the iconic Sunseeker lineage while undergoing a complete reinvention, propelling the Superyacht range into the future.”
Frabetti also emphasized the collaboration with Design Unlimited to create an extraordinary interior for the 120 Yacht, aiming for a space that combines visual impact with the comforts of home for owners.
The yacht’s exterior features angular lines complemented by expansive glazing, elevated stainless-steel handrails, and a sleek hard top and pilothouse. The aft flybridge offers two spacious seating areas for formal dining and socializing, while a starboard walk-through leads to the elevated foredeck, which includes asymmetrical sofas, a four-person sun pad, and the option for a spa tub.
Comparing it to the 100 Yacht, the main deck’s aft cockpit is notably expanded, featuring a curved seating group for ten guests surrounding dual symmetrical tables and a four-person wet bar. The beach club, a highlight of the 120 Yacht, includes a full-width, high-low swim platform and a gull-wing door leading to a day head, shower, and storage area. The yacht’s garage is designed to accommodate a 6-meter tender and two jet skis.
Inside, the interior exudes luxury with stone finishes, striking centerpiece bulkheads, statement lighting fixtures, recessed lighting in shelving and ceiling coves, and in-set marble flooring. The saloon offers a fresh furniture arrangement, including a spacious sofa to port and two chairs to starboard, while forward, a round dining table can accommodate up to 12 guests.
The starboard hallway leads to the full-beam owner’s suite, while the lower deck accommodates four guest cabins and the crew quarters.
Sean Robertson, Sales & Marketing Director at Sunseeker International, emphasized the company’s rich history of crafting industry-defining superyachts, dating back to the 105 Yacht in 2000. Over the past two decades, Sunseeker has launched 14 Superyacht models and sold over 147 yachts over 100 feet in length worldwide. He believes that the Sunseeker 120 Yacht is a remarkable new concept that will fulfill the yachting dreams of the right owner.
