Derived from the aesthetic blueprint of the Batur, this extraordinary motorcycle is limited to a production run of 500 standard editions and an exclusive Mulliner variant, restricted to a mere 50 units.
Amid this year’s Art Basel Miami, Ducati and Bentley joined forces to introduce a special limited-edition Diavel, featuring two distinctive options – a standard iteration comprising 500 units and an exclusive Mulliner model, meticulously crafted and restricted to a mere 50 units.
The design philosophy behind this bike draws inspiration from the exceedingly rare Bentley Batur, a novel fusion of sports and luxury in the form of a concept car by Bentley, propelled by a robust 740 PS twin-turbo W12 engine and produced in an extremely limited run of only 18 units.
Reflecting the essence of the Batur, the Ducati Diavel for Bentley aims to embody opulence, high-performance, and superior craftsmanship. This achievement is realized through the collaborative efforts of Ducati Centro Stile working closely in tandem with Bentley designers. Distinctive features include the Scarab Green paint, a hallmark of the Bentley Mulliner palette. Furthermore, the design aspects, such as the forged rims and dual-tone side air intakes, take direct inspiration from the Batur, while the inclusion of carbon fiber components introduces a dash of racing dynamism.
The meticulous attention to detail extends to the rider’s experience, featuring a black Alcantara seat that alludes to the luxurious interiors associated with Bentley. The exhaust system and other technical elements have undergone a redesign to seamlessly align with the refined lines of the motorcycle. Through the Mulliner option for the Diavel, riders can expect an elevated level of personalization, offering an exclusive array of colors for various components, resulting in a truly distinctive and tailor-made example.
Every Diavel for Bentley, whether bearing the Mulliner insignia or not, is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, a detachable passenger seat, and a custom-made cover. Owners will also be treated to a special key-on animation and an LED rear light cluster, accentuating the exclusivity of each unit. To underline this exclusivity further, each motorcycle will be delivered in a personalized wooden case.
From a technical perspective, the Diavel for Bentley is driven by a 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, renowned for its power, torque, and compact design. The engine’s Twin Pulse combustion and dedicated exhaust system contribute to an unmistakable auditory experience. While the price remains undisclosed as of the current writing, Ducati has made available an inquiry form for prospective buyers via its official website
