An Art Director in digital publishing, Gallery Director, an Entrepreneur and an upcoming Author – Sha Mieko has many talents and titles to her name. Constantly inspired by the arts, Sha is uniquely equipped to tackle any creative project that comes her way. Read on to learn more about her unique background and current endeavors.
With an innate entrepreneurial spirit and passion for creative work, Sha Mieko studied Business Management and Interior Design during her earlier education in Australia and Singapore. These combined influences led her to create digital magazine Le Style, that inspires culture and travel. Over the years Le Style has expanded to offer yearly events at The Langham, Sofitel Melbourne and Singapore from 2011, while Mieko works in the photography art and luxury goods industries. She believes in quadrennium – her natural passion and understanding in business management helped to develop creative platforms. Having worked alongside CEO Jean Cassegrain of French luxury leather goods Longchamp, renowned British artist Jason Brooks and marketing projects with Chanel Australia just to name a few, combining her Singaporean entrepreneurial background with today’s shift of ever-developing international markets in creative mediums.
Mieko has produced yearly luxury events, L’heure du The during those years in celebration of art and food for Le Style readers in feature of renowned artist, Kerrie Hess who’s work has graced the much-loved Laduree, Kate Spade New York, and Louis Vuitton. The much anticipated annual tea party was celebrated with luxurious spreads of a customized menu. Mieko worked with the chefs at The Langham and Sofitel for the auspicious event of 100 sit-down fine dining guests. Mieko has gifted recognized contributions of her charity events to local personalities with the involvement of Montblanc Australia. She has enjoyed these years of fast-paced yet rewarding moments of her career fulfilling the progression from her former wedding e-boutique business beforehand.
Currently Mieko leads as the Gallery Director of LUMAS Australia, a German brand gallery who represents more than 250 international artists, while continuing her entrepreneurial venture, Bibliophilia of luxurious books and library accessories in the art of escapism like the books of Assouline. Due to the nature of working with private persons, she has called her audience, Private Sky Society. She spends her leisure time playing chess over Japanese whisky, and relaxes with her two children.
Sha’s personal ethos including the admiration of literature brings her to a new venture in developing a book that promises us of beauty, uniqueness, and pieces of enlightenment for both women and men. Her personal favorite quote by the great Roman scholar Cicero seems rather fitting;
