New 42-Foot Yacht Unveiled, Navigating Seas With Over 1,000 HP

An audacious outboard version of the TT420 yacht has been revealed by the Italian shipyard, taking the maritime world by storm after its debut at Boot Düsseldorf in January. Named the TT420S, this sleek vessel will make its grand premiere at the upcoming boat show in January, boasting the same stylish profile as its predecessor but with a significant power boost.

While the original TT420 housed two Volvo Penta D6 engines, each delivering 440 hp, its swifter successor is propelled by three Yamaha outboard engines, each rated at 350 hp, collectively amassing a staggering 1,050 horsepower. To accommodate this new propulsion system, Invictus made slight alterations to the original layout, including the removal of the central section of the swim platform.

This reconfiguration also brings notable advantages. The space previously occupied by the inboard engines has been transformed into a practical storage area for various amenities and water toys, while the garage retains its capacity to house a seven-foot tender.

Once again crafted by Christian Grande, the 42-foot newcomer maintains the signature taut lines associated with Invictus vessels, coupled with a striking axe bow. A sleek glass windshield seamlessly integrates with a wave-inspired carbon hardtop, a distinctive feature seldom seen on yachts of this size. Furthermore, a front opening ensures pleasant airflow while anchored.

The initial model will showcase an exclusive Vogue White hue, complementing both warm and cool tones present in the seating arrangements. A protected walkway, fortified by high bulwarks, grants access to all sections of the vessel. Positioned at the bow is an expansive sun deck that effortlessly converts into a chaise lounge, perfect for relaxed evenings. Amidship, a roomy dinette boasts folding tables that cleverly stow away when not in use. Additionally, two collapsible side terraces can be deployed to augment the main deck, connecting guests with the open sea.

Internally, Christian Grande has opted for an expansive open layout. The generous living space features adaptable U-shaped sofas that effortlessly transform into a cozy double bed as needed. Towards the aft lies a cabin with separate beds and a spacious bathroom, complete with a separate shower. Invictus highlights the “remarkable internal heights” facilitated by the ample bulwarks, creating an atmosphere of openness and brightness within.

Eager to witness this marvel firsthand? The debut Invictus TT420S will be showcased at Boot Düsseldorf from January 20 to 28, 2024.
