The M4 CS, a limited edition variant that sits between the M4 Competition Coupé and the M4 CSL, is the newest “Competition Sport” car from BMW. It provides a thrilling balance between racing prowess and everyday utility.
A customized 3L twin-turbo inline six engine with 550 horsepower power the M4 CS, which can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds. Although the engine is drawn from the M3/M4 family, it has been extensively adjusted for track performance, as evidenced by the success of its racing-bred rivals, who have dominated events such as the Dubai 24-hour race, the DTM, and Spa-Francorchamps.
BMW’s M xDrive all-wheel-drive technology and the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission improve performance even more. The car’s abilities were tested in the Nürburgring, where it demonstrated its agility and dynamic handling with an amazing lap time of 7 minutes and 21.989 seconds.
Carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) is widely used in the M4 CS to reduce weight, especially in important areas like the top, hood, and aerodynamic components. This makes the vehicle a technical marvel. This highlights the car’s racing heritage while also improving the vehicle’s performance and aesthetic appeal.
The M4 CS has top-notch inside elegance and technology. It has the newest version of the BMW iDrive system, M Carbon bucket seats, and a BMW Curved Display with M-specific readouts. It is also outfitted with the M Drive Professional package, which includes M Traction Control, a lap timer, and a drift analyzer, enabling it to be a competent daily driver in addition to a track-ready performer.
The BMW M4 CS, which is scheduled to start production at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing in July and will be available for purchase by the end of May, is an impressive blend of high-performance engineering and everyday use.
